Star-Spangled Skillet
Ingredients:
- American Tallow
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 2 potatoes, diced
- 4 eggs
- 2 tbsp American Tallow
- Salt, pepper, optional cheese
Instructions:
- Cook bacon; set aside.
- In American Tallow, fry diced potatoes.
- Crack eggs into pan; cook to desired doneness.
- Sprinkle with bacon and cheese.

Founding Father's Flapjacks
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1 ¼ cups milk
- 2 tbsp melted American Tallow (plus more for frying)
Instructions:
- Mix dry ingredients; add wet ingredients.
- Heat American Tallow in skillet.
- Pour batter, cook until bubbles form, flip, and cook through.

Heartland Hash
Ingredients:
- American Tallow
- 3 russet potatoes, shredded
- 1 small onion, shredded
- Salt and pepper
- 3 tbsp American Tallow
Instructions:
- Squeeze water out of potatoes and onions.
- Heat American Tallow in a skillet over medium heat.
- Press potato mixture into pan in a thin layer.
- Cook until crispy and golden, flip, and repeat.
- Season generously.
LUNCH/DINNER

Benjamin Franklin's Fried Chicken
Ingredients:
- 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- American Tallow for frying
Instructions:
- Soak chicken in buttermilk 4–6 hours.
- Mix flour and spices.
- Heat American Tallow to 350°F.
- Dredge and fry chicken until golden and cooked through.

Bicentennial Burgers
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp American Tallow
- Buns and toppings
Instructions:
- Form patties; season well.
- Heat tallow; sear patties 3–4 minutes per side.
- Serve with your favorite toppings.

Freedom Fries
Ingredients:
- 4 russet potatoes, diced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 tbsp beef tallow
- Salt, pepper, paprika
Instructions:
- Parboil potatoes for 5 minutes; drain.
- Heat American Tallow and fry potatoes and onions until crispy.

Revolutionary Roast Beef
Ingredients:
- 3 lb chuck roast
- 2 tbsp American Tallow
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp rosemary
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions:
- Rub roast with American Tallow and seasonings.
- Roast at 275°F until internal temp reaches 130°F.
- Rest and slice thin.

Patriotic Pork Chops
Ingredients:
- 4 pork chops
- ½ cup flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper
- American Tallow for frying
Instructions:
- Season and dredge chops in flour.
- Fry in hot American Tallow until golden and cooked through.

American Meatloaf
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ lbs ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- ½ cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 tbsp melted American Tallow
Instructions:
- Mix ingredients; form loaf.
- Brush with melted American Tallow.
- Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.

Liberty Rings
Ingredients:
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup flour
- ½ cup cornmeal
- Salt
- American Tallow for frying
Instructions:
- Soak onions in buttermilk 1 hour.
- Dredge in flour and cornmeal mixture.
- Fry until crispy and golden.
Dessert

American Tallow Pie Crust
Ingredients:
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- ¾ cup American Tallow (chilled)
- 6–8 tbsp ice water
Instructions:
- Mix flour and salt.
- Cut in American Tallow; add water gradually.
- Chill dough before using.

American Dream Pie
Ingredients:
- 6 cups sliced apples
- ¾ cup sugar
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- 2 tbsp butter or American Tallow
Instructions:
- Mix filling ingredients.
- Fill tallow pie crust; add top crust.
- Bake at 375°F for 50 minutes.

George Washington's Cherry Hand Pies
Ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh or frozen cherries, chopped
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- American Tallow pie dough
- American Tallow for frying
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, combine cherries, sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch.
- Cook over medium heat until thickened, then let cool.
- Fill dough circles with cherry mix; fold and seal.
- Fry in American Tallow until golden.
- Dust with powdered sugar.

Teddy Roosevelt's Tallow-Fried Doughnuts
Ingredients:
- 2 ½ cups flour
- 1 packet yeast
- ¾ cup warm milk
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 tbsp butter or American Tallow
- 1 egg
- American Tallow for frying
Instructions:
- Make dough; rise until doubled.
- Roll and cut.
- Fry in American Tallow until golden.
- Dust with sugar or glaze.

Honest Abe's Skillet Cornbread
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup flour
- ¼ cup sugar (optional)
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup melted American Tallow (plus extra for greasing)
Instructions:
- Preheat skillet with American Tallow at 400°F.
- Mix dry and wet ingredients separately; combine.
- Pour into skillet; bake 20–25 minutes.
